Brad Dennison of the
"Victoria Jaycees"
brought another boxing
championship to Victoria
after winning the 100lb.
junior championship at the
"BC Winter Games"
Dennison won two bouts
including his final victory
over Derrick Wolf of
Cranbrook.
Brad stopped Wolf with a left hook and right
uppercut combination in the second round.
The BC Intermediate and Senior open
Golden Gloves are slated for Vancouver
March 20and 21st. with defending
champion Gary Robinson expected to see action.
The next club show is expected to take place
on April 18th. in Campbell River. Paul jr. and
Dean Deluca and Darryl Swift are exected to see action.
Boxers are trained by Paul Deluca sr., Brian Zelley
and Lou Bujdoso.
The ongoing battle to establish a boxing commission
moves into round four with the drafting of a city bylaw.
