Champion Beyond The Ring Wars
May 8, 2014 * story about Irish Pat Murphy
Pat  Murphy fought Canada's
Donato Paduano and Clyde Gray
In recent times Murphy was inducted into the
New Jersey Boxing Hall of Fame

Action In Regina May 23 and 25th., 2014
Boxing Canada vs Team Wales
*two events provided a good tune-up
in preparation for the 
2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow

For the Friday night it was all Canada vs Wales
with Canada winning seven bouts of ten 
Rodolfo Velasquez stepped in as an alternative
to face a top Welsh boxer. The bout ended in
a split decision for Wales, but it proved to
be a good match for Rodolfo
Three Canadian women boxers earning wins
were Ariane Fortin, Mandy Bujold and Caroline Veyre
