BC AMATEUR BOXING - THE STORY By Brian Zelley  The British Columbia amateur boxing story through my eyes and ears and the mames of those inducted into the A quick blast from 2010 to 2014 British Columbia Amateur Boxing Hall of Fame Although the BC Amateur boxing hall of fame began in 2010 there is a lot of history with th many inductees The above list is only the names from 2010 to 2012 but before we include the 2013 and 2014 names, the above list paints an interesting tapestry for the sport. 2013 Images 2014 Images Some great selections in  2014 e.g. Billy Townsend and William (Billy) Finlay THE STORY of TOMMY PAONESSA Our first pioneer selected was former boxer, coach and ring official Tommy Paonessa who coached in several decades including the forties To highlight his icon status, Tommy has been inducted into various halls of fame including the BC Sports Hall of Fame and Boxing Canada's Hall of Fame.
